In the 1930's Albert H. Pless bought over 4,000 acres in Plant City, Fl for farming and cattle and moved there from Tampa with his wife, Kathrine; who he always called Kathleen. They built their home out of stone, and the wood on the inside was made from the cypress and cedar trees on their properties. Kathleen loved to garden, and she dedicated herself to make her new yard a fairytale. She planted flower beds all throughout her new yard and passed her gardening passion down to her granddaughter, Peggy. In 1970, they had to sell off most of their properties and when they passed away, the property was left unmaintained. What once was beautifully gardened, became overgrown. In 2013 Peggy A. Waller, with and her husband Ferris, repurchased her grandparent's home and she began to bring beauty back into the yard, then they opened up their homestead to the public. Taking care of Kathleen's Garden, and your special day is important to us, and we are happy to share our passion with you!
